Lush Review :: BB Seaweed / Cupcake / Cosmetic Warrior

Hello, everyone!
I hope you all have a very merry christmas :)
I just stayed home, ate good food.

I picked these Lush's fresh face masks with a lot of discount,
my skin was breaking out at that time
so I asked for the soothing ones.

BB Seaweed
This one has obviously seaweed haha aloe vera and honey.
It took away the redness from my face.
I use this one at night and the next morning, my skin looked glowy and mosturized :)

Cupcake
I LOVE the scent of this product,
it literally feels like eating BR's mint chocolatechip icecream with my face!
It definitely has that cooling menthol feeling once you put it on,
very shoothing.
Cupcake's the right one if you want to control the oiliness.

Cosmetic Warrior
The Lush staff that I talked to said this one is really good for oily to combination skin.
But I just don't care if it's good or not,
I hate the smell.
It has garlic in it, no wonder...it's like you won't have to afraid of vampires!!
I mean if you have combination skin like me and you are not very sensitive at scents,
you can give it a try.

I also got this complimentary cosmetic pouch for buying more than centain amount,
isn't it the cutiest pouch ever???!!!
It even has a little furry tail at the back, too.

Oh my god, 2013 is almost over.
Time to think about some new year resolutions...!
Most of all, more blogging! :)
Alrighty, thanks for reading and take care!

OOTD :: The Golden Jacket

Yay!
My very first outfit post with New York background :)
How's your week been?
Mine was so awesome.
I finally found a job and it's the job I was dreaming about!
I am officially a jewelry designer
It was my training week this week.
I still can't believe that I actually got a job in this field
without any related degree or experiences.
I didn't practice drawing and making jewelry like crazy for nothing last summer, eh?
Dreams do come true!!

Back in spring this year,
I saw somebody working in H&M wearing this jacket.
I so wanted to buy one but it was out of stock in every H&M store in Seoul
and I forgot about it.
Then I went to Shanghai in summertime to see my friend who lived there
and there it was!!! :D
It was even on a massive sale,
God, I was so happy when I saw it haha.
I love how it's in a bold blouson shape and has feminine flower pattern on it.

It's Friday already!
Go out and do some fun stuff, guys!
See you next time :)

My Travel Diary::Bangkok

Yay! I finally have internet in the house :)
Being without internet wasn't very fun.
I had to walk to the starbucks down the street when I needed it.
But now I got the internet, you know what that means!
More blogging!!!

Today I want to share my best photos from the Bangkok trip back in September.

It was already fourth time in Bangkok,
that says how much I love this city!
Bangkok is one of the cities that you can plan for different themes
depending on who you traveling with.
This time I was with my fiancé who has never been there,
I tried to plan to do more on the coupley, romantic side
and to show him the typical pretty Bangkok touristy sites at the same time.

I found this review about Silom Cooking School
it sounded really interesting since I LOVE Thai food.
The class started at 9 in the morning at a local farmer's market.
The chef, Jay, took us around,
explained all different types of ingredients that I've never seen before.
After picking up fresh vegies and meat there,
we went to the school and cooked Tom yum gung, Pad Thai and Green curry.
I was very surprised how easy and simple to cook Thai food!
The teachers and staff were really friendly and helpful.

This roof top bar called Sirocco is one of the places that I go almost everytime I visit Bangkok. It is really fancy and quite formal since you can't wear certain things like flip flops and stuff. You pay quite a bit for your drinks but I think it's def worth it with the view and the ambience and their drinks are really delicious!
They even get you a handful of pistachios and olives for condiments :)
If you wanna check out more about how the bar looks and what I wore to this bar,
check out here.

Then Joe and I went on a dinner cruise along the Chaophraya.
There are lots of different cruise lines,
we chose this small and intimate one by Banyan Tree Hotel.
We had only 8 tables on the cruise and they served course meal
we enjoyed the quite and peaceful dinner :)

One of the reasons that I love about staying in the hotels in Bangkok,
they have really good swimming pools.
I just couldn't miss a nice morning swim session.

Last but least,
when in Bangkok, you can get good massages and they are affordable.
I really like how they decorated with the velvet couches and patterned carpets.

It's rainy and windy here today.
I am gonna wait till the rain stops and walk out to get some thanksgiving day cards :)
What you guys planning on doing today?
Hope you all stay nice and warm.

Byeee!

Fashion News :: Rihanna for River Island

 Hi, guys!
Hope you all are staying nice and warm!
I just moved into a new house,
so it was another busy busy week for me.
But I had to post about Rihanna's new collection with River Island.
I just love her fearless and effortless designs.
I especially want the gold long sleeve dress and the tartan crop t-shirt,
they are absolutely gorgeous!
And I love how the Korean model, Jihye Park, rocks in the campaign.

I am still trying to install the internet to the new house,
it takes forever to do all sorts of paper works :(
Hopefully I get it within this week and get to blog some more!

Till next time, take care :)

OOTD :: Date Night Look

Hey guys,
I know I've been a bit lazy not blogging for last a few days.
I was just really busy with house hunting, job searching and all adult stuff, you know.
Luckily, I found a house I like and signed up for the lease 2 days ago!
And I have two interviews for jewelry designer position.
Honestly it's been a bit tough being sick and far away from the city
since I arrived here,
but now things are looking up! :)

Today I want to share what I wore for a romantic dinner cruise in Bangkok.
These pictures are taken at Sirocco
which is a roof top bar on top of Lebua Hotel.
If you ever travel to Bangkok,
you have to go!
It's the best place to see the night view in Bangkok, I swear!

I saw this cover shoot behind the scene kinda video on Nylon TV Youtube channel,
it was Emma Roberts wearing bikini top as bra and beige color see through top,
it blew my mind.
It looked so nice, kept thinking about it
and a few days later I found the exact same bikini top at H&M on sale!
What do you guys think?

Oh and I call this hair band the Daisy hair band,
cos it looks like the one Daisy from the Great Gatsby was wearing in the movie.
I instantly fell in love with it when I saw it in the store
so I had to get it! :)

I hope you guys enjoyed reading my post
and till next time,
take care!

xoxo

OOTD :: Crop It Like It's Hot!

Good morning!
How's your week been?
Mine has been pretty good.
I've been traveling Thailand since last friday,
spent 3days in Bangkok and now I'm in Chiangmai :)
Joe and I rented a scooter,
we are just scooting around the city!

Anyways, this is what I wore in Taiwan.
It was pretty hot in the daytime so I had to make a use of this tiger crop top!
Oh! and I've been loving this bandana I bought from one of those street vendors.

Hope you're all well!

My Travel Diary :: Family Trip to Taiwan

Hello, everyone!
I hope you all had a great weekend :)
What did you all do?
My fianće finally came back from Australia,
we had our going away dinner and stuff with our friends this weekend.
It's getting a bit stressful getting ready to move to another country.
I really can use a long holiday.
But I am here today to share the pictures that I took in Taiwan 2 weeks ago.
I am so glad that I got to snap a lot more than last time I visited.
You can check out the photos I took back in Feb here if you are interested :)

Taiwan is such a dessert heaven.
And this is my favorite, Mango shaved ice with panna cotta!

The rings that I brought to Taiwan.

My sister cancelled on us a day before the trip,
so I had a hotel room to myself..
I can't say I didn't like that! haha
I am slowly learning how to put on make-up and stuff.
I am a girl after all!! :D

It seems like everyone has a motor bike or a bicycle.
They are neatly parked everywhere.

You get to see a lot of FURiends everywhere in Taiwan.
And they are not afraid of you.
I loved taking a close look of them and snap some good pictures.

Oh my god, this restaurant called "The Top" has the best scenery of Taipei city.
We went there after dinner, got some tea and cocktails
and watched a glowing sun set together.
The sky slowly turned to all different pretty colors
and the buildings in the city started to lighten up.
I loved the view and the vibe there!

Next morning, we went to the Taiwan National University.
took a nice walk and went to this little school café.
Their agricultural department has a farm,
they milk the cows and sell the milk and ice cream at this café.
We tried the ice cream, it was so fresh and rich!

I saw so much green in Taipei.
There are a lot of little parks and they make the city more lively and refreshing.

Last time I went to this small town called "Jiu fen" which is an hour away from Taipei,
I loved it so much so decided to take my parents and show them around.
Luckily it wasn't pouring this time, I had much more fun! :)
Oh, if you watched the Japanese animation film "The Spiriting Away of Sen and Chihiro",
this is where the director got inspired for the location setting.
If you haven't watched it, you should!
It's for adults as well, the music's so good, too.
Since that animation movie's one of my favorite ones,
I was so glad to see what "Jiu fen" is like in person.
We saw another sunset drinking tea in a terrace of an old tea house
and it was so beautiful.

After our little Jiu fen trip, I brought my parents back to the hotel, told them to sleep
and went out to see my friends, Joan and Renee.
We all met in Brisbane, Australia when we were doing working holiday.
Renee got married in Feb this year,
she invited me, Joan and a few other friends over to the new house.
Her husband, Viggo, prepared and performed a rap song for us.
I thought that was really brave and cool!
Anyways, they got me a box of this bread
They look like croissants but taste like scones
and have different kinds of jams and stuff inside.
I really enjoyed having these with coffee in the morning.
Thanks guys, if you are reading XD

All the major touristic spots have these stamps,
I stamped all over my scheduler so I can remember where I've been in Taiwan :)

Ah....This rose milk tea at Taiwan Starbucks is the best drink ever.
It's so light and the rose flavor isn't overpowering.
I know people make fun of me for going to starbucks
which is the franchise you can find anywhere in the world.
But starbucks in other countries do have all different menus!
And I love to check them out and try something new.

Taiwan isn't the most spectacular and dynamic city in the world.
But I love it for friendly & kind taiwanese people and good food :)

I hope you all enjoy reading my Taiwan travel diary.
Have a good night, guys!
