Lush Snow Globe Soap & Bubblegum Lip Scrub │ Review

If you use Lush soaps, you probably know this little tip; cut them into small pieces so they last longer.
I cut my Snow Globe in half when I first got it.
And I was about to use the other half the other day,
since I tried half of it already I thought I could write a quick review here,
took a few photos of it and Bubblegum Lip Scrub that I bought in Aus :)

Even though this is part of Lush's Christmas collection and it doesn't smell christmasy at all,
I must say the scent is still amazing.
It just smell like freshly made lemonade.
While it is pretty strong, not too overwhelming in the shower,
I love to use it in the morning especially.
I know it's for body but the lovely Lush lady who help me out recommended to use it on face as well.
So I tried it on my face, I like to use it both on my face and body!
It lathers beautifully, I get good creamy foam.
and leaves my skin feeling really clean too! :)

My lips all went dry and rough this winter somehow, they were bleeding and the dead skin was peeling..
I needed a solution to this.
So I looked up what could help me and luckily found this product! :)

Bubblegum contains Castor sugar and organic jojoba oil, the castor sugar exfoliates your lips and get rid of dead skin and the jojoba oil leaves your lips smooth and moisturized.
It does smell like bubblegum, the scent is delicious!
I use this every night in the shower,
start by wetting my lips, getting some scrub on my finger then applying it in circular motions around my lips.
The trick is to apply thick layer of lip balm as soon as I get out of the shower.
Then I find my lips so soft the next morning.
My lips are thanking me for treating them with it daily!
So, over all a great product, fun to use as well.

My Birthday Hangout

I hung out with my closest friends last Saturday for my birthday.
And it was a blast!
We went to this decent Korean-Mexican spot called Vatos.
Waiting for our table for 2 hours wasn't too fun but as soon as they served food we forgot about it haha
Their Tacos and Kimchi carnita fries are finger-licking goooood.
After dinner, we went to the Bangalow which is a bar with a nice tropical atmosphere.
We had a good time there having a couple of nice drinks and listening to good music
then hopped to another lounge bar, Berlin where Joe's friend was DJing.
I used to go clubbing and party hard on my birthday till last year,
but I wanted to keep it chilled this time, we still had good times.
Guess I am getting old...haha
Anyways, here are the photos of me and my friends :)

I am wearing:

Mustang Jacket
Ultra-Light Down Jacket // Uniqlo
Camo T-shirt // Zara Men
Pleather Leggings

My Birthday Wishlist!

So it's my birthday in a few days..
I had this Birthday Wishlist for a while,
it just took me quite a long time to edit the photos because I am new to photoshop.
I got some gift from the wishlist already! :)
But I will post up about the birthday hangout and gifts that I got some time next week.

1.Laugh with me LeeLee eau de toilette // Benefit
I used to use Maybe Baby a long time ago, it was like a staple for years and I started to try other fragrances.
Recently I've been missing it a lot then I found Laugh with me LeeLee.
Somehow it's very similar to Maybe Baby to me but slightly different I should say less sweet.
I want to add a girly perfume to my collection cause I know it's a little early to say but it will be spring soon!

2.Watt's up // Benefit
Simply I am almost out of highlighter!

3.Skull Bracelet // A-land(Pinknoodles)
I will take anything skull seriously...this one looks like it can be layered with my other bracelets and watches easily :)

4.Stella McCartney x Adidas High Top Sneakers
Such cool shoes, aren't they?
I've never really worn high tops before except converse ones.
Recently I am dying to get a pair!

5.Marc Jacobs Rain Perfume
This is one of the limited editions...Oh it's so refreshing!
When I sniffed it for the first time, I was like.. What is this? I want one right naaaaauuuw!

6.M Soft Mauve 225 // Shu Uemura
I don't really try enough blushers.
I am using Dandelion from benefit and M Soft Apricot 521 and finally got bored!

7.Charisma Skin Tint // Lush
My skin get tanned easily during the summer which I love but then once winter starts it just get pale so fast!
Grrrrr... I want nice & warm glowy look on my face!

8.1460W // Dr.Martins
I don't think I need any explanations for this one.
I mean Docs are so versatile, they can be matched with leggings, jeans and even dresses!

I think my very first photoshop work turned out alright! :)
Hopefully it takes less time next time...I spent a whole day today to make that thing haha

It's almost weekend.
I hope you all had/have a good Thursday!
Byeeee

On a relaxing weekend

I didn't really feel like doing much this weekend
Not after unpacking, cleaning and all that jazz during the week.
I always want another vacation to recover from a vacation! haha
I met up with a friend for a really good Vin Chaud in the Saturday morning ,
and then another friend came out in the afternoon, we went on a bakery tour :)
I ♥ good pastries!
Aw we tasted the new starbucks beverage, espresso shot green tea latte.
It's basically green tea latte with an espresso shot in it, I should say it was pretty nice!
I heard they changed the green tea powder to the one from Jeju Island, Korea where is famous for good green tea.
It's certainly bitter than before, but I like the taste of it :)

 Coat // Mango
Jeans // H&M
Boots // Ugg
Bag // Mulberry

What I ate in Sydney!♥

I still can't believe that it's already been a week since I came back from Australia.
Time does fly!
So I mentioned about how great the food in Sydney was in my previous post.
I had to separate these food pictures simply because I have so many of them...Haha
Here are the pictures of what I had in Sydney!

Thai Chicken Curry Pie @Pie face

Stir-fry with fried egg noodles made by Joe's mom mmmm

I teamed up with Joe's sister and cousin and made these little red velvet cupcakes! :)

Pho!! I forgot where we had it :(

Calamari / Fish&chips @main street of Manly beach
The calamari was crispy outside and super tender inside!

 Lebanese Chicken @El Jannah's
Oh my god, the garlic sauce was heavenly.
Aw, I loved their hommus too :)

Chinese pork bun @forgot where we bought this again..
I wish I took a picture of inside, it's got BBQ pork, an egg, mushrooms.
So so juicy and tasty!

Honeycomb cupcake @Somewhere in the Parramatta shopping mall
The honey butter cream icing is a killer!
Love Crunchie on top<3

Calamari / Papaya Salad @Banh Dach
We had a lot of viet food, I love it because they cook food in very healthy ways.

 Chorizo Hotdog @Gourmet Sausage
It was a bit salty for me, but the sausage was really juicy and it had sun-dried tomatoes(I love them!!)
Macaroons @Zumbo
Mint Chocolate/ Milkshake/ Hazelnut /Lamington/ Blackened Vanilla / Berry

Bavarian apple pancakes @Pancakes on the Rocks
Aw we had a blueberry one but I got too excited, forgot to take a picture of it.
I liked both of them!
I love anything with cinnamon really.

 Pho made by Joe's mom
She is the best cook in the world!
Seriously the best pho I've tasted :)

I love mango and I love macadamia!!
This was like heaven in my mouth...

Mmmmm this was the first thing I see when I wake up in the morning.
Joe's dad loves coffee,
he made me a really nice cup of coffee every morning :)
How cute is that?!

I LOVE FOOD!!!
Well...who doesn't? :D
Good foods always make me happy, even looking at them haha
so I wanted to share these pictures here.
Anyways, hope all had/have a good Monday!

Snapshots from my Australia trip

G'day mate! :)
Again, it's been long since I posted anything!
I've been to Sydney twice already,
but I was still super excited because this time I went to see my boyfriend's family for Christmas!
I flew to Sydney on Dec 22th and came back to Seoul on the 31st.
Sydney's one of my favorite cities.
I love their architecture, the food is amazing and people are laid back and kind!
So here are the pictures from the trip that I want to share.

My favorite fruit: Mangosteen<3 mmmmmm
We managed to get to the city while we were transferring at KL,
went to Jalan Alor and had some decent local food :)

So....!! These guys are what I picked up in duty-free stores :)

Mulberry Alexa over-sized bag
Rebecca Minkoff mini Mac
Benefit They're real mascara and Habana glama make-up kit
Body shop kabuki brush
Hunter rainboots

Oh my god, I LOVE duty-free shopping in Korea!!
I will post a duty-free shopping in Korea guide some time soon.
I bought these at half prices of what they sell in regular department stores :)

I must say that I am so in love with this kit!
It's got everything I need.
Especially the eye shadows are amazing, they are neutral shades so it's really easy to blend with any other colors.

 My holiday nails :)
It felt awesome to be in my sandals again when it's -13 degree back home!

Christmas present opening with the family!
Aw this is my boyfriend, Joe :)

Look what I got :) My boyfriend and his family got me a Dre! How dope is this?!

We went to a gardening store to find some trees and roses for the garden of the new house!
I tried to open my eyes but the sun was too bright haha
But yeh this was my outfit of the day!
I've been wearing this pleather leggings out lately, they go with everything :)

I grabbed this bright red color for nails because it's summer in Aus :D

I HEART TOPSHOP<3
But I will tell you a sad story... we don't have it in Korea.
So the first place I wanted to shop at was Topshop :)
I always wanted to get a camo something and finally found some!
Slip-on sneakers and a jaket.

Close-up on the accessories! :)

Aw and I found this adorable flowery collar.

I can't wait to try these hats!
I bought the leopard one in Topshop and the other one is from General pants.
Both of them were on sale :)

I was so happy to find this bath bomb,
it's called 'Golden wonder' and I believe it's one of those Christmas limited items.
I wanted to get one in Korea, but it was sold out on-line and off-line!
So I had to pay a visit to lush while I was in Aus :)
Aw and I bought a bubblegum lip scrub just because it's twice the price here.
I will put up a review about this later when I use it!

In front of the Habour bridge.
The bridges and buildings in Sydney are so beautiful!

First a few days in Sydney were a bit cooler than what I expected,
so I had to layer long sleeves.

Opera House! and my whole outfit of the day :)

Shopping in Myers in Parramatta :)

Loving my new shoes <3

Off to Taronga zoo

Arm party & finger friends

It was sprinking a little bit earlier but we had such beautiful weather for outdoorsy stuff :)
Guess what's my favorite animal!

Giraffe!!! :)

Going out to the city, woo-hoo!

Joe's friend took us to Fresh water beach! I enjoyed finally using some sun :)

The water was super clean...!

It was so not fair I couldn't surf in this clean and beautiful sea :(
We had so much to do because it was a day before I left Aus.

A cute little cafe near Manly beach.

Walking down the main street near Manly to get some fish & chips :D

All dressed up for my last night in Sydney!

I love Darling habour..it's pretty as much as its name!

I wanna put up the pictures of what I ate in Sydney,
but there are so many of them,
I think I'm gonna have to do a food special posting seperately hahaha.
But anyways, I had great times in Aus thanks to Joe's family and friends.
Now I am filled with positive energy and so ready to kick off 2013!
I hope all my readers had a happy new year.

Thanks for reading,
xoxo
