Neutral Wishlist

After adding lots of bright colors to my wardrobe,
now I think I need more Neutral to mix & match!
So I came up with this Neutral Wishlist :)

1.Round-shape Sunnies // Asos

Well, I LOVE SUNNIES!
I collected a few of square shaped ones past several years,
but I don't have round ones so I want to give it a try.

2.Soft Matte Lip Cream (Sao Paulo) // Nyx

I see this Nyx Soft Matte Lip Cream on many beauty gurus' Youtube channels,
I really want to try that in especially 'Sao Paulo' shade
but it's not available in Korea :(
I'm gonna try to get it from e-bay soon.

3.Boyfriend Jeans // Zara

Aw I am also dying to try Boyfriend Jeans,
tried a few but somehow it's quite hard to get nice fitted one.
I was this Zara one on Annaleeandjesse 's video the other day
and had a feeling that might be the one...
so I am gonna try that on before I go watch Iron Man 3 tonite :) Woohoo

4.Strappy Stiletto Heels // Zara
I've been trying to get myself a nice pair of YSLish Strappy Heels
and this one looks good enough and affordable!

5.Quilted Bomber Jacket // H&M

I instantly fell in love with this bomber as soon as I saw it in the catalog,
thought it would be cool to throw that on a feminine dress.
I am just waiting for it to be available in stores!

6.Two Finger Ring // Pamela Love
I thought this Two Finger Ring's unique yet easy to wear.

7.Beige Distressed Jumper & White Lace-trimmed Shorts // Mango

Mango isn't my favorite SPA brand.
But they used Miranda Kerr for this season's lookbook.
Well done, Mango!
I love almost eveything that she's wearing in the catalog..
and this one was my favorite look :)
Beige Jumper and White Shorts with the side lace trim.

It's almost Weekend, yay!! :D
I hope you have a great Friday & Weekend,
byeeeeee!

Update on my Jewelry Making & Designing Courses

I finished the first 3 month long Jewelry making course like a week ago!
Yay :D
I learned how to shape the material and how to use tools.
It was super fun, I really enjoyed every second of it.
I am taking another course next weak,
by the time I finish that one hopefully I am more comfortable using the tools and other machines.

I had to take a month break on the Jewelry design course tho,
I was exhausted after 3hour class twice a week on top on the Jewelry making class
and my bf is leaving Korea soon, I want to spend as much time as I can!
But I still keep drawing other great designers pieces just to practice a bit :)

So the pictures above(all from my instagram @vickykimthekorean)
are the pieces that I made during the class
and some drawings.
I was inspired by Zoella's "Yes" braclet,
so I made one!
If you don't know Zoella who's one of my fav bloggers,
check out her blog here.

Tell me what you think! :D

My first Youtube Video

Happy Monday!
So while my boyfriend and I were traveling Jeju Island, I tried to film a lot.
I've been crazy about so many vloggers on Youtube, they inspired me to make a video!
It took me a while to figure out how video editting and youtube work,
but that's okay, I am quite happy with the results.
I hope you enjoy the video
and if you think it's cool, please give a thumbs up! :)

Lush review :: Herbalism and Whoosh

Hello :)
I've been trying to edit all the video clips that I filmed in the island together ,
I have to tell you editing vids is not easy at all!
So that will be up soon, my first video. Yay!

If you've been reading my blog, you already know I am such a Lush fanatic.
I wanna talk about Herbalism which is a staple item in my skincare routine
and a new product I tried out, Whoosh!

Well, It's been already two to three years now since I've been using Herbalism.
My skin used to be super sensitive,
it just broke out quite a lot and turned red easily when it's cold or hot.
I had to find something to help the problem.
That's when I tried Herbalism.
It's basically a cleanser and it works as an exfoliator too.
I use it 4 to 5 times a week.
So here's my almost everyday skincare routine :)
1.Remove the makeup using Cleansing water(I use Bioderma Sensibio)
2.Wash the face with a facial soap
3.Pinch a bit of Herbalism out with dry hand
(you don't want to wet the product to keep it fresh!)
4.Smoosh it up in your hand and apply the paste to your skin.
5.Gently rub against my face focusing on oilier area
(like around nose and forehead)
6.Leave it for a few minutes
(meanwhile I brush my teeth :) )
7.Rinse my face thoroughly with warm water.
(make sure there's no residue on the face!)
My previously red and irritated skin was left clean and smooth
after using this product for a while.
I should say the smell isn't everybody's tho.
It's got strong vinegary herbal smell but I guess now I am used to it,
it doesn't bother me anymore.
I am so glad I tried it out when I had acne problems before,
it totally worked for me.
I would recommend this if you have combination / red / sensitive / irritated skin.

Aw Korean Lush web site had this event pole thing a while ago,
I voted for fun,
and lucky me, I won a prize!!! :D
They sent me Snow Globe and Whoosh.
I already reviewed Snow Globe which is my favorite body & facial soap,
so you can check it out here if you want.
These two have exactly same scent
they smell like a citron bomb if that makes sense haha, really clean and refreshing :)
They have grapefruit, lime and lemon.
but Snow Globe is a hard soap bar,
and Whoosh is shower jelly!
So it's got that boing boing feeling just like jelly, super fun to use it!
You can either rub it directly to your wet skin or rub it to shower ball
and it lathers great too.
But after a few times of using it, it started to fall apart if I take it out to lather..
this could be a con :(
So I stopped taking the whole thing out now,
instead just take out a small bit and use that.
I still can't hate it because of the smell and texture!

Almost Friday night, almost weekend.
Hope you all have/had a good day!

Byeee :)

Jeju Island - Day 2

Sometimes it scares me how fast time flies.
I mean it was New years a second ago, it's already April.
It's crazy!
I guess it means I am living a good life and having fun, yeh?
Anyways, here's the look of Day 2 in Jeju.
I wasn't going to put on the denim jacket but it was crazy windy again,
I had to wear it on top of what I was wearing.
My man and I went to Yeomiji Botanical Garden.
I had to take a photo in front of the cactus garden, because I love cactuses :D
They are so weird and beautiful if that makes sense haha
And then we went to Ripley's Believe it or not Museum,
didn't really planned to go but Joe saw it driving by,
thought it'd be cool to check out.
We had a lot of fun seeing an eye-popping guy, Voodoo dolls and other freaky stuff that they had in there.
Hope you all have/had a good day!

Jeju Island - Day 1

Hello! :)
I've been trying to put up the pictures of me when my boyfriend Joe and I were in Jeju Island last weekend.
Jeju Island is the biggest island in Korea, it takes about an hour from Seoul, the capital.
Since volcano happend long long time ago and it is almost at the southern end,
the weather's very different, people there speak their own dialect and food is unique!
We already been there like a year ago, we loved it so much, had to come back here.
Even thought the weather didn't really help us, it was super super windy, cloudy and rainy,
We managed to eat delicious food and have fun :)
The first two pictures were taken around Kimnyeong Beach Drive which is really beautiful.
Last time when we went down to the island,
I so wanted to go to this 'To be a whale' Cafe(Goraega doel Cafe) but we didn't get to go,
we tried it this time!
That's where the third photo's taken, isn't it amazing? It's right by the ocean and their coffee was super nice.
Joe tried this 'Zorba Coffee', it's really strongly spiced turkishy coffee.
Different from your regular coffee, but it was really good!
Aw and we took a ferry to this Udo(U-Island) where we had so much fun riding ATV last time.
It was so windy and chilly, that took some fun away
but still we took good photos and tried the giant Ann burger @House of Ann.
The last picture was taken in Udo, by a cute cafe named Haha Hoho Cafe.
It's been a few days since I came back to Seoul,
I already miss there...aw and the food, too!
