OOTD :: Striped Summer Dress

Hi, guys!
How's everybody's week going?
Mine has been pretty good :)
I did a lot of drawing and started taking a guitar lesson!!

Now Korea's all about really good quality soft ice cream!
My friend and I went to one of the popular spots,
tried their "Honeychips"
which is rich milk flavor soft ice cream with a decent honey comb piece on top of it.
It just blew our minds!

I found this cute nude coral stripe dress the other day,
loving it so much!
What do you guys think?

I hope you guys have/had a great day!

My travel diary :: Shanghai & Beijing

Hi, guys!
I planned to post these pictures while I was traveling,
but wow I don't know how other bloggers do it!
Maybe next time, in September when I visit Taiwan.
But I am here today to show you the pictures I took in China :)

So I have a friend in Shanghai
and my friend, Carrie who I traveled with, has a friend in Beijing.
We went to Shanghai first and spent three days
and flew to Beijing, stayed there for three days,
came back to Korea.
We didn't really planned to do sightseeing
but to see our friends and spend time with them.
Oh, and one of my fiancé's best friend was in Beijing with his brothers and girlfriend,
we got to meet up and hang out a bit which was awesome!

Okay, let's start with the first picture I took in Shanghai.

This is the view from the hotel we stayed :) Quite pretty, eh?

My friend took us to this spot that serves amazing mojitos.
OMG, it was seriously the best mojito I've ever had!

And the next day, we went to Sunny Beach, an artificial beach right by the river.
I LOVE this place!!
It costs only like 10bucks to get in and you can use sun beds and stuff for free!
You even get a free drink which we found out later when we went back to the hotel :(
The view was amazing and they play cool music, too.
They only had one pool and it was very small, tho.
We enjoyed the sun and played volley ball.
I already want to go back to Shanghai just to visit Sunny beach again hahaha

Another hot place to visit, Anfu street!
This is where you can find trendy cafes, restaurants and lounge bars.
We went to Amokka
and had a few dishes, my favorite was this salmon and cous cous :)

I love how Waitan looks completely different day and night.

Laomatou, which is near Sunny beach, looked really cool.
We had some plans after so didn't get to try the restaurants there
but maybe next time! :)

Mcdonald's in China have taro pie.
Mmmmmmm so good

I love little galleries in Taikang Street
where little cool artsy stores where they sell handmade stuff.

This club, Shelter was supposed to be the coolest local club,
but I guess we were there too early..
they were playing scary dark music and music videos,
we couldn't stand it!

Back to Waitan to see the night view :)

I've been to Beijing before but didn't get to go to the Great Wall,
so this time I went! :)
My friends and I had lunch before
that was when I fell on super slippery floor and hurt my back.
But I am a tough girl!
I managed to make it to the first top of the Great Wall with my friends' help :D

Vian took me to C.O.S.and said it was one of her favorite stores,
I bought myself a nice ring there :)

We went clubbing to "Spark" which is apparently one of top three clubs in Beijing.
They played a lot of dubstep remix version of trendy music,
we all danced the night away!

I had real good times in China,
already miss there so much :'-(

I hope you guys enjoyed reading my travel diary!
Thanks for reading :)

Peek Into My Life #2

Good morning, everyone!
It's been raining for the last week or so in Korea.
I was hoping it to cool down a bit,
then now it's still hot and muggy.
Oh well,
so I decided to post the pictures that I took when it was all sunny and nice :D

Have I told you that I love palm trees? :)

I went to a hotel pool a few weeks ago
and saw this amazing rainbow!

These are the pictures from my surfing trip to Busan by myself.
I made a real good friend there!
We have surfed again in Yang yang and grabbed dinner not too long ago :)

Char-grilled short rib tacos / Chicken tacos /Seoul fries from Grill5 in Sinsa
They have the best Korean-Mexican food!

My favorite tea house in Seoul, Chloris, has this amazing Earl-grey tea flavored shaved ice.

I took a few cool pictures while I was in Yang yang.
My friend introduced this cool surfing shop to me,
they have this little terrace to chill, play lege music :)

Yay, we have Ichiban Nama in Seoul now :D
This frozen beer's brilliant, isn't it?
I know they are promoting all around the world now.
If you spot it, you should seriously give it a try!

My summer bucket list :)

Oh yeh, I just got new tattoos.
What do you think?

I hope you enjoyed this post
and have a great day!

Byee :)

Review :: Lush's hair product // Karma Komba / Happy Hippy / Blousey

Good morning, lovelies :)
Recently I was given a few hair products from Lush's events.
I've tried these three shampoo for several weeks,
just wanted to share my thoughts with you guys!

Karma Komba
I know I say this every time I review Lush's products
but really I love the smell of it,
so exotic!
It leaves a nice a orange + lemongrass scent with a hint of floral,
stays for the rest of the day :)
I have this love and hate relationship with shampoo bars.
I love them because they last forever
only if you dry them well after using.
If you leave them in your bathroom on normal soap trays,
they just melt away quickly.
I usually bring it with me after shower to my bedroom,
put it next to the windows
so they dry and make my room smell heavenly haha
I've tried Lush's other shampoo bar "New" before
hoping it to help me with scalp and hair loss problems.
It didn't really help a lot with hair loss
but this one Karma Komba made my hair so healthy and strong!
It lathers creamy soft foam
and gives a deep cleanse to the hair.
Your hair might feel stiff when you rinse it
this is because Karma Komba doesn't contain that chemical make your hair feel soft
but don't worry, your hair will be soft again once you dry it :)

Happy Hippy
Happy Hippy is actually a body cleanser gel
but works as shampoo too.
I love the sweet grapefruit scent in shower
but sadly the fragrance doesn't stay long.
I think it's still better to use it for body
but it's perfect for travelling when you don't want to carry much
since it works for body and hair as well :)

This banana shampoo, Blousey, just blew my mind.
Even after just one use, I saw a huge difference on my hair.
My hair turned so so soft and healthy,
and smell amazing!
But good thing the worker in the store told me that it wouldn't lather much,
I would have used a lot more to work the lather.
He said that he actually saw one customer used a whole jar to lather hahaha
Not lathering doesn't mean that it wouldn't clean well.
I was quite surprised that it didn't leave me residues
and my hair and scalp were left so clean and fresh.
Blousey has sweet and nutty scent with a hint of rose.
I donated 3 kilo rice and got 3 100g of Blousey :)
I love it so much but it's pretty pricey in Korea
it's 56000won(which would be 50USD) for a 240g jar.
50bucks for a jar of shampoo?
a little too much, eh?
I think I am gonna use it for hair emergencies
like after dying, perming you know when my hair looks pretty damaged.

I hope my post help those who wonder which hair product to use.
Especially in summer your hair gets damaged from the heat and the sun,
you need extra care for it.
I'd say my favorite one from the three above would be Karma Komba
because it works amazingly but not pricey.

Thanks for reading my blog
and I will see you in my next post.

Bye :)
