I decided to share my instagram feed monthly because this blog is mainly
for me to document these little things I love and care about.
I know it's really late to put up January feed but it's never TOO late, right?

I saw this 'Pho Wings' recipe on Serena's blog, The Spicy Stiletto and thought I'd give it a try. I changed wings to drumsticks for more meat and also adjusted other ingredients a little bit for my personal tastes. I had them with my go to drink, orangeade(I just squeeze fresh oranges and mix it with sprite! so yummy) and some celery and carrot sticks. It's a great dish with really simple cooking process.
Pho Drumsticks (2 servings/8 drumsticks) 8 drumsticks 1/3 cup Sriracha 2/3 cup Hoisin sauce 2 tablespoon Olive oil Salt and Pepper,as desired 1 tablespoon Cilantro,finely chopped(optional) 1 tablespoon Spring onion,finely chopped(optional) 1 tablespoon Crushed Peanuts(optional)
Preheat oven to 375. Rinse drumsticks with cold water and pat dry the excess water with paper towels. Place drumsticks on a baking tray, drizzle with olive oil and a few pinches of salt and pepper. Bake for 30 mins, turn them over and bake the other side for 30 mins.Take them out when the outside of the drumsticks looks golden brown and crunchy. Remove the drumsticks from oven and place in a large bowl. Toss with Sriracha and Hoisin sauce until they are evenly coated, then add cilantro and spring onion and give one last toss. Sprinkle crushed peanuts on top.
Today I wanted to share the things that I always keep on my desk at work. For those who don't know or are new to my blog, I am a 9-6 working girl.
The skin around my nails is always dry no matter what season of a year but especially winter time it just gets worse I need extra care for it.I discovered Bio Oil a year ago (Thank God!), I've been using it ever since and my hands thank me! I just mix a drop of Bio Oil and some hand cream. It makes my hands moisturized for longer.
I like to keep a perfume on my desk.
I sometimes forget to spray some in the morning so I started bringing one to work and it ended up staying there.
This month I have been using Body Shop White Musk Perfume oil and I appreciate the subtleness, it's just enough to give that nice aroma to your day.
I realized that putting some perfume on is a great way to freshen up in the afternoons. And sometimes I have to go to a sudden meeting with some clients, smelling nice definitely gives me confidence.
I appreciate being warm in the office, but sometimes air-conditioning can be too harsh on my skin. My face feels really dry usually in the morning time when they blast the heater. My skin tends to break out when it's dry soMario Badescu Facial Spray with Aloe, Herbs and Rose Water is one of my winter skincare staples! I usually spray once as soon as I get in the office and once more after lunch break, leaving my skin hydrated.
With my really busy career and blogging, I have to be super organized. I enjoy planning ahead anyways, so I just have to keep a scheduler to prioritize and to fit in the most projects for my blog.
I am currently using Sugar Paper Los Angeles 2015 Planner and I love the layout. It's just so simple and clean weekly & monthly calendars. I write down a list of each day's tasks on the weekly ones and on the monthly ones I mark my meetings and business trips.
Am I a coffee person? Hell yeah!
I heart coffee so much. I used to drink 3-4 cups of coffee a day but I did my research and now I know too much of it isn't good for you so now I have to have ONE good cup of coffee every morning. I normally french press my coffee but I don't have time every morning. For those days, Starbucks Via Ready to Brew comes in handy. Via is instant coffee powder and it's almost as good as brewed coffee from starbucks stores! They have quite a few options but my favorite is Italian Roast. I like a little bit of milk in my coffee and I think the boldness of Italian Roast tastes the best with milk. I recently purchased a Starbucks Verismo To-Go Tumbler. It's double-walled stainless steel tumbler with tapered shape and mirror shine. I make my coffee in the tumbler and have it on the go! I love the easy grib and how long it keeps the coffee hot.
Although I didn't enjoy clearing the thick snow off my car, I do appreciate this gorgeous post-snowpocalypse background. I recently started tucking sweaters in. I think wearing them like that especially with skinny jeans looks so effortless and chic. With the boyfriend fit coat and my city bag, I felt like trying the messy low ponytail.
I've been wanting to try Joe Malone's cologne for ages
and finally got my hands on it!(little excited scream)
My manager at work just got married a couple months ago
and when she was going on her honeymoon to Hawaii, I got her a surprise gift which was a full bag of Lush bath bombs.
On her first day back to work, she gave this Blackberry & Bay Cologne as a thank you present.
How nice! I was like how did you know that I wanted this??
"Childhood memories of blackberry picking...A burst of deep, tart blackberry juice, blending with the freshness of just-gathered bay and brambly woods. Vibrant and verdant."
Is how they explain.
I've tried it on for a few weeks now and I have to say that I really appreciate fruity cologne that is not overly sweet like this one. Especially the light woody base nicely balances out the sweetness. I love how it sits on my skin for a good about of time.
What's cool about Joe Malone Cologne is that you can combine a couple different ones together.
I can't wait to get another one and mix it up with this!
